Return policy

Before the expiry of the withdrawal period, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract, without having to justify the withdrawal decision and without incurring other costs than those provided for in art. 13 paragraph (3) and art. 14 of O.U.G No. 34/2014, within 14 days starting from the day on which he takes physical possession of the product. Return costs are borne by the consumer.

By distance contract is meant the contract for the supply of products or services concluded between a trader and a consumer, within a sales system organized by the trader, which exclusively uses, before and at the conclusion of this contract, one or more techniques of remote communication.

The right of return within 14 days is only addressed to customers who purchased products online from the website www.edituraboema.ro

The returned product must be in the same condition in which it was delivered. Products with physical changes, damage, etc. are not accepted for return.

Considering the legal provisions provided by GEO 34/2014 in art. 13 para. 1 in conjunction with para. 3, The Seller reserves the right to refund the value of the returned product within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which it received the product sold and its conformity could be verified, unless the professional offered to recover it himself the products.

The seller reimburses the amounts mentioned above using the same payment methods as those used by the consumer for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has agreed to another payment method and on the condition that the payment of commissions is not the responsibility of the consumer after reimbursement. In the situation where the consumer paid in cash for the ordered products, he can opt for the refund of the amount in a bank account, by bank transfer, indicating the IBAN and the account holder in this regard.

Without prejudice to the previous provisions, the professional is not obliged to reimburse the additional costs if the consumer has explicitly chosen a different type of delivery than the standard delivery offered by the professional.

The Seller expressly states that in the event that the customer refuses to pick up the package from the courier company/easybox, and the courier returns it to the Seller, the latter will reimburse the customer only the amount of money related to the ordered product, not the shipping fee or the processing cost, since the package was processed and shipped, even if due to the buyer's culpable attitude it was not picked up. The processing fee is 2.00 lei.

Obligations of the consumer in case of withdrawal

According to the Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, the consumer only bears the direct costs related to the return of the products (understood to refer to the delivery cost, not including the processing cost), unless the seller agrees to bear those costs or the professional has not informed the consumer that these costs must be borne by the consumer. In the case of off-premises contracts, where the products were delivered to the consumer's home at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the professional takes the products at his own expense if the products, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by courier.

The consumer will bear the transport costs related to the return of the products.

Exercising the right of withdrawal

The consumer informs edituraboema.ro about the decision to withdraw from the contract through a written notification to office@edituraboema.ro, indicating at least the following information: name, surname, order number, date of order, name of the desired product returned.
